Walking
From the center of Port Douglas, head east on Macrossan Street towards Wharf Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Port Douglas Road. Turn left onto Port Douglas Road and walk until you reach the bus stop near the Port Douglas Village. Here, you can catch a bus to Kuranda. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Kuranda, follow Therwine Street until you reach 13 Therwine St, where the Kuranda Original Rainforest Markets are located.

Public Transport
Start at the main bus stop in Port Douglas, located near the corner of Macrossan Street and Wharf Street. Look for the bus service that goes to Kuranda. Purchase a ticket from the driver or the ticket machine. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. When you arrive in Kuranda, exit the bus and head straight down Therwine Street for about 500 meters. The Kuranda Original Rainforest Markets will be on your left at 13 Therwine St.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Port Douglas. Head east on Macrossan Street and then turn left onto Port Douglas Road. Follow the road out of town and onto the scenic bicycle paths leading toward Kuranda. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
