  To reach Mount Barney National Park by car from any location in South West Queensland, you will want to start by heading towards the town of Beaudesert. From Beaudesert, continue onto the Mount Lindesay Highway (National Route 43) for about 32 kilometers. Once you reach the junction with the Mount Barney Road, turn onto Mount Barney Road. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Mount Barney National Park, located at Burnett Creek QLD 4310. Ensure to check for any parking fees at the entrance.

  If you prefer public transportation, your journey will begin with taking a bus from your location in South West Queensland to Beaudesert. Once in Beaudesert, you will need to catch a local bus service towards the Mount Lindesay Highway. However, public transport options may be limited, and you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service from Beaudesert to Mount Barney National Park, as this final leg of the journey does not have direct public transport services.
