Car
From The Twelve Apostles, head southeast on Great Ocean Road/A1 for approximately 20 kilometers. Keep following the A1 until you reach the turnoff for Skenes Creek Road. Turn right onto Skenes Creek Road and follow it until you arrive at the Great Otway National Park entrance. The drive should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the park, follow the signs to Hopetoun Falls. Note that parking is available at the falls, but there is no entry fee for the park.

If you are using public transportation, take a V/Line bus from Apollo Bay to the Great Otway National Park area. You will need to check the V/Line timetable for bus availability as it may be limited. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Hopetoun Falls, as public transport options may not go directly to the falls.

If you are already at the Great Otway National Park and prefer walking, you can follow the marked trails from the visitor center to Hopetoun Falls. The walk is approximately 800 meters and takes about 15-20 minutes. Ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear and carry water, as the paths can be uneven.
