If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Gailtal and head towards the B111 road. Follow the signs for Malta. The road will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach the junction for Malta Hochalmstraße, turn onto the Hochalmstraße road. Continue along this road, which is quite scenic, until you arrive at the Kölnbreinsperre (the dam). The exact address is Brandstatt 35, 9854 Brandstatt. Note that there is a toll fee for using Malta Hochalmstraße, which is about €10 per vehicle.
