If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Admont. Head south on B146 towards Weng im Gesäuse. Continue on B146 for approximately 12 kilometers. Once you reach Weng im Gesäuse, look for signs directing you to Gstatterboden. Turn left onto Gstatterboden road, and after about 1 kilometer, you will find Gesäuse-Lodge located at Gstatterboden 3, 8913 Weng im Gesäuse. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train to Admont. From Admont train station, you can catch a bus to Weng im Gesäuse. The bus line 910 runs regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Weng im Gesäuse, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to get to Gesäuse-Lodge. Follow the signs toward Gstatterboden, and you will reach the lodge at Gstatterboden 3. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for any potential costs and timings.

Walking
For those already in the vicinity of Weng im Gesäuse, walking is a pleasant option. From the center of Weng im Gesäuse, head southeast towards Gstatterboden road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful views of Gesäuse National Park. The Gesäuse-Lodge will be on your right at Gstatterboden 3. This route is relatively flat and suitable for all walking abilities.
