Walking
If you are starting from the main square (Hauptplatz) in Graz, head south towards the Landhaus. From Landhaus, take the narrow street called 'Schmiedgasse' which leads you to the foot of the Schloßberg hill. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to the Schloßbergsteig, which is marked by signs. The Schloßbergsteig starts at the base of the hill and is a well-marked pathway that leads directly to the top.

Public Transport
From Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 or 7 towards 'Jakominiplatz'. Get off at 'Jakominiplatz' and then transfer to tram line 3 towards 'Graz, Gösting'. Get off at 'Schloßplatz' stop. From there, follow the path leading to Schloßberg, where you will find the start of Schloßbergsteig.
