Start from the main square in Hallstatt, where you can see the iconic church tower. Head down the street towards the lake, following Lahnstraße. Continue walking until you reach Lahnstraße 33. The entrance to Way of the Cross I will be on your left side. It is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes from the main square.

If you are near the Hallstatt Museum, exit the museum and head towards the lake. From the museum, walk along the lakeside path until you reach the end of the lakeside promenade. Turn left onto Lahnstraße and walk for about 5 minutes. Way of the Cross I will be on your right at Lahnstraße 33.

For those coming from the funicular station, exit the station and walk down the hill towards the village. Follow the signs for Lahnstraße. Once you reach the main road, take a right and continue straight. Way of the Cross I will be located at Lahnstraße 33 on your right-hand side after about a 15-minute walk.
