From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the main square (Marktplatz). Once you reach the square, look for the road that leads uphill, called the 'Kirchenweg'. Follow this path as it winds up the hill. The walk will take about 10-15 minutes. You will pass by beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Continue walking until you reach the sign for 'Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt'. The church is located at Kirchenweg 40, and you will see its distinctive architecture as you approach.

If you are near the Hallstatt Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto the main street (Lahnstraße). Walk straight until you reach the bend in the road where it turns into Kirchenweg. Follow Kirchenweg for about 5 minutes. The church will be on your left once you reach Kirchenweg 40.
