Car
If you're traveling by car, start by entering the following address into your GPS: Stubach 122, 5723 Stubach. From Zell am See, take the B168 road towards Mittersill. Continue on B168 for approximately 20 km. In Mittersill, turn left onto the B165 road towards Stubach. Drive approximately 10 km until you reach the village of Stubach. Upon arrival, look for parking areas near the trailhead leading into the Wiegenwald Weißsee area. Note that some parking areas may require a small fee, so carry cash just in case.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to Mittersill from larger cities like Salzburg or Innsbruck. From the Mittersill train station, catch a local bus (Line 660) heading to Stubach. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Stubach stop, which is near the village center. From there, follow the signs to the Wiegenwald Weißsee trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited, especially on weekends.

Once you have parked your car or arrived at the Stubach bus stop, begin your hike towards Wiegenwald Weißsee. The trail is well-marked and begins just outside the village. The hike is approximately 4 km and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. It is considered moderately challenging, so wear appropriate hiking boots and bring water. Follow the signs that lead you through beautiful forested areas until you reach the stunning Wiegenwald Weißsee.
