To reach Donnerbrunnen by public transport, start by taking a train from your location in Lake Neusiedl to Vienna. The ÖBB trains frequently run from stations like Neusiedl am See to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). Once at Wien Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Stephansplatz. Get off at Stephansplatz and walk approximately 10 minutes to Neuer Markt. Keep in mind that a train ticket will cost around €10-€15 for a one-way trip.
