Walking
If you are starting from the historic Old Town (Altstadt), head towards the Linzergasse street. Walk straight along Linzergasse until you reach the junction with Schwarzstraße. Turn left onto Schwarzstraße. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Salzburg State Theater at Schwarzstraße 22 on your right.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Mirabell Palace (Mirabellgarten), walk to the nearby bus stop 'Mirabellplatz'. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Lehen' or 'Südtiroler Platz'. Get off at the 'Makartplatz' stop. From there, walk straight towards the river and cross the bridge. After crossing, take a right onto Schwarzstraße, and the Salzburg State Theater will be on your left after a short walk.

If you are near the Salzburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), head to the tram stop right outside the station. Take tram line 1 towards 'Aigen' and get off at the 'Südtiroler Platz' stop.
