If you are already in the Innere Stadt, you can easily reach Hofburg on foot. Start at Stephansplatz, the central square which is home to St. Stephen's Cathedral. From Stephansplatz, walk north along Graben, a famous shopping street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the crossroad with Kohlmarkt. Turn left onto Kohlmarkt and walk for about 200 meters. You will see Hofburg on your right.
