Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Krems an der Donau, which is a common entry point into the Wachau Valley. Head southeast on B37 towards Dürnstein. Continue on B37 for about 12 km until you reach the village of Schönbühel an der Donau. Turn left onto Schönbühel a.D. and follow the signs to Abbey Schönbühel, which will be on your right. The parking area is available near the abbey, and there might be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
For those using public transportation, take a train from Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station) to Krems an der Donau. Trains run regularly and take approximately 1.5 hours. From Krems, take the bus number 721 towards Dürnstein and get off at the 'Schönbühel an der Donau' stop. From there, Abbey Schönbühel is a short walk (about 15 minutes) up the hill. Please check the local bus schedules for exact timings, as they may vary.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also cycle to Abbey Schönbühel. Rent a bike in Krems an der Donau and follow the Danube Cycle Path (Donauradweg) along the river.
