    From Berchtesgaden Hauptbahnhof (main train station), the House of Mountains is a 5-10 minute walk or a short bus ride. Take RVO bus lines 839 or 841 to the "Haus der Berge" bus stop. Bus 840 from Salzburg also stops here. A single bus fare within Berchtesgaden is approximately €2-3. With the Berchtesgaden guest card, bus travel is free.

  • Walking

    From the center of Berchtesgaden, the House of Mountains is a 5-10 minute walk. Head east on Hanielstraße. The center will be on your left. It's an easy, flat walk suitable for most fitness levels.

  • Parking

    If driving, paid parking is available directly at the House of Mountains. The cost is €3.50 for a day ticket or €0.25 per 30 minutes. There are designated parking spaces for people with disabilities. Additional parking can be found near the Berchtesgaden train station, but check parking machine corresponds to the parking area.
