History of Ganja-Gazakh Region

The Ganja-Gazakh Region, known for its fertile lands and strategic location, has been inhabited since ancient times. Archaeological findings suggest that the area was settled as early as the Bronze Age. The ancient city of Ganja, one of the oldest cities in Azerbaijan, was founded in the 5th century.
