Walking
From the Saint Bavo's Cathedral, head south towards the city center. Continue straight on the Sint-Baafsplein for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the Veldstraat. Turn left onto Veldstraat, and walk for another 200 meters. When you reach the end of Veldstraat, continue straight onto the Botermarkt. You will find the Ghent City Hall at Botermarkt 1, right at the square.

Public Transport (Tram)
If you are near the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station, take tram number 1 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Korenmarkt' stop. From there, walk towards the Gravensteen Castle, then head south on the Sint-Veerleplein until you reach the Hoogpoort. Continue straight onto the Botermarkt, and you will see the Ghent City Hall at Botermarkt 1.

Starting from the Gravensteen Castle, exit the castle and walk south towards the Sint-Veerleplein. Continue straight to the Hoogpoort. From the Hoogpoort, take a left and walk along the street until you reach the Botermarkt. The Ghent City Hall will be right at the square at Botermarkt 1.

If you are at Flanders Expo, take bus number 3 in the direction of 'Gent - Dampoort'. Get off at the 'Korenmarkt' stop. From there, walk straight to the Gravensteen Castle, then continue south on the Sint-Veerleplein to the Hoogpoort. Finally, turn left on the Botermarkt to reach the Ghent City Hall at Botermarkt 1.
