If you're traveling by car from Thimphu, head north on the Thimphu-Gasa highway (NH 7). It's approximately a 4-5 hour drive covering around 100 kilometers. Follow the signs to Gasa, and enjoy the scenic views of the Himalayas along the way. Once you reach Gasa, continue on the same road until you see the signs for Jigme Dorji National Park. The entrance is located at RP9H+M2P, Gasa. Make sure to have a map or GPS available, as some parts of the road can be winding and steep.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Thimphu to Gasa. Buses to Gasa leave from the Thimphu bus terminal regularly, and the journey takes about 5-6 hours. Upon arrival in Gasa, you can hire a local taxi to take you directly to Jigme Dorji National Park. The taxi ride will cost around 300-500 Ngultrum, depending on negotiation and distance. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey.
