From Punakha Valley, take the main road towards Thimphu (National Highway 5). Drive for approximately 70 kilometers (about 1.5 hours). As you approach the city of Thimphu, you will see signs for Semtokha. Turn left onto Je Bamo Lam SE and continue for about 2 kilometers. Simtokha Dzong will be on your right. There is parking available near the Dzong.
