If you are driving to Kumbu Lhakhang from any location in Sarpang District, start by heading northeast towards the Wangdue Phodrang District. You can follow the main road (National Highway 2) until you reach the junction near Dungdungneysa. From there, take the road leading towards Phobjikha Valley. Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers until you spot the sign for Kumbu Lhakhang. Follow the signs for another 2 kilometers, where you'll find the temple located at G56H+658, Phobjikha Valley. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountain roads as some parts can be steep and winding.

To reach Kumbu Lhakhang using public transportation, catch a local bus or shared taxi from Sarpang Town to Wangdue Phodrang. This ride typically costs around 100-200 Ngultrum and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Wangdue Phodrang, you will need to find a bus heading to Phobjikha Valley. This trip might take an additional 30-45 minutes and cost around 50-100 Ngultrum.
