Walking
If you are starting from the main square in Thimphu (Clock Tower Square), head east towards Norzin Lam. Walk straight on Norzin Lam for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction where it meets the Tashichho Dzong road. Turn left onto Tashichho Dzong Road. Continue walking for another 10 minutes; you will see the Folk Heritage Museum on your right side near the Kawajangsa area. The museum is situated at FJMJ+2R7, Thimphu, and is marked clearly with signage.

From the National Memorial Chorten, exit the premises and turn left. Walk straight for about 15 minutes along the main road until you reach Norzin Lam. Turn right onto Norzin Lam and continue for about 5 minutes. You'll see the Folk Heritage Museum on your left as you get closer to the Tashichho Dzong road.
