Walking
From the main square in Uyuni, head east on Avenida Ferroviaria until you reach the intersection with Calle Potosí. Turn left onto Calle Potosí and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the train tracks. Cross the tracks and continue straight on the dirt road (this becomes Avenida 6 de Octubre). After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Colchani. Once you enter the town, look for signs pointing to Museo de la sal y la llama, located on an unnamed road. The museum is approximately 1 kilometer from the center of Colchani, on your left.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Uyuni. Start at the main square and cycle east on Avenida Ferroviaria. When you reach Calle Potosí, make a left turn. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer to the train tracks. Cross the tracks, and keep going straight on Avenida 6 de Octubre. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive in Colchani. Follow signs for Museo de la sal y la llama, which is about 1 kilometer from the center of Colchani, located on an unnamed road on your left.
