Start your journey from Copacabana or Ipanema. Take bus number 583 (Alto da Boa Vista) from either Copacabana (stop near Rua Barata Ribeiro) or Ipanema (stop at Rua Visconde de Pirajá). The bus will take you through the city and up through the Tijuca National Park. Get off at the 'Estrada da Cascatinha' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes along Estrada da Cascatinha towards the direction of the Mirante da Cascatinha. The path is well-marked, and you will see signs leading you to the viewpoint.

Take the Metrô (Metro) from your location to the 'Cinelândia' station. Transfer to the bus terminal nearby and catch bus number 583 (Alto da Boa Vista). After about 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the 'Estrada da Cascatinha' stop. Walk approximately 10 minutes along Estrada da Cascatinha towards the Mirante da Cascatinha, following the signs you will encounter along the route.
