Getting There

    Start by taking the Metro (Subway) to the Siqueira Campos Station (Line 1 - Light Green Line). From there, exit the station and head to the bus stop on Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. Look for the bus line 583 - 'Alto da Boa Vista'. This bus will take you towards the Alto da Boa Vista area, where the entrance to Parque Nacional da Tijuca is located.

    Once you board the bus 583, remain on it for about 40 minutes. The bus will stop at various points, but you should get off at the stop 'Estrada da Cascatinha'. After disembarking, you will see signs directing you to the main entrance of Parque Nacional da Tijuca (SETOR A - Floresta da Tijuca). The entrance is only a short walk from the bus stop.
