Walking
The Casa do Carnaval da Bahia is located in the Pelourinho district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From Terreiro de Jesus, walk north towards the Catedral Basílica. The museum is located next to the Catedral Basílica, near the Plano Inclinado Gonçalves. Look for the colorful Zambiapunga heads out front. There are no costs associated with this final approach.

Public Transport
From Praça Castro Alves, take the bus to the Pelourinho. Bus 1001 is a direct route from the airport to key locations such as Pelourinho and Barra. Get off at the stop closest to the Catedral Basílica. From there, walk towards the church and the museum will be on your right. The bus fare is R$5.20.

From the Fera Palace Hotel, a taxi or ride-share to the Casa do Carnaval da Bahia is a short ride. The journey is approximately 1 km and should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated cost is R$10-R$15.
