Located in Beloslav, near Varna, the Museum of Glass offers a unique glimpse into Bulgaria's glassmaking heritage. The museum is situated on the grounds of the Inhom Glass Factory, the successor to Bulgaria's first glass factory, founded in 1893 by the Mushalan brothers. Beloslav was chosen as the location due to the availability of resources and its proximity to Varna. The museum not only preserves traditional glass production methods but also integrates them with modern technological advancements. Visitors can witness live demonstrations of glassblowing, observing skilled artisans shaping molten glass heated to 1500–1800°C into various forms. The demonstrations include manual glass production, semi-automatic bottle production, and even a glass-handling robot. A highlight is the "Glass Cave," a modified glass furnace that allows visitors to observe the transformation of raw materials into glass. The museum also features an exhibition hall displaying a diverse collection of glassware, including vases, bowls, candle stands, and bottles. Some unique exhibits include glass headlights for Lada cars and windows for Perla 5 washing machines, remnants from Bulgaria's industrial past. Visitors can also participate in decorating glass items to create personalized souvenirs. Adjacent to the Museum of Glass is another attraction, the Slava Submarine, offering a glimpse into Bulgaria's naval history.
