From the center of Assomada, you can start at the main square, Praça da Assomada. Head northwest on Rua 1 de Maio until you reach the intersection with Rua de Lisboa. Turn right onto Rua de Lisboa and follow the road as it curves. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you'll find a pathway leading to the outskirts of the town. Follow this pathway as it transitions into a dirt road leading towards the natural park.

Public Transport - Minibus
From Assomada, head to the minibus station located near the main square. Look for a minibus heading to Ribeira Principal or the direction of Serra Malagueta. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop near Serra Malagueta Natural Park. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the park entrance, which is a short walk from the drop-off point.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Assomada. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the main square and take the same route as described for walking. Once you reach the outskirts, you can take the dirt road leading towards Serra Malagueta Natural Park. The ride will take you approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
