From the center of Santa Maria, head east towards the beachfront. Walk along the main street, Avenida 15 de Setembro, until you reach the beach. Continue walking along the beach promenade, enjoying the views of the ocean. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the end of the promenade. Turn left onto Rua 1 de Maio and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see signs for the Viveiro Botanical Garden.
