If you are in the center of Santa Maria, head towards the beachfront promenade known as 'Avenida dos Afalantes'. Walk along the promenade, enjoying the ocean view. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the promenade. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto 'Rua 15 de Agosto'. Continue walking along this road for about 10 minutes until you reach a junction with 'Rua 1 de Junho'. Turn left onto 'Rua 1 de Junho' and walk straight for another 5 minutes. You will see the sign for Santa Marilha Horse Excursions on your right.

From the center of Santa Maria, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head towards the beachfront promenade and ride along 'Avenida dos Afalantes'. Keep pedaling straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto 'Rua 15 de Agosto'. Continue cycling for about 10 minutes until you see 'Rua 1 de Junho' on your left. Turn onto 'Rua 1 de Junho' and continue for another 5 minutes. Look for the Santa Marilha Horse Excursions sign on your right.
