Getting There

  • Bus

    To reach Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park from Campbell, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. Head to the Campbell Transit Center located at 25 E Campbell Ave. From there, take the VTA Bus Route 26 towards 'De Anza College'. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer to the SamTrans Bus Route 17 at the 'San Jose Diridon Station' stop. Stay on the bus for about another 40 minutes until you reach the 'Pescadero' stop. From the bus stop, it will be about a 15-minute walk to the Pigeon Point Light Station. Walk west on Pigeon Point Rd, and you will arrive at your destination.

    For a scenic ride to Pigeon Point Light Station, start at Campbell Park. Head south on E Campbell Ave until you reach the intersection with S Bascom Ave. Turn right on S Bascom Ave and continue south until you reach the intersection with Camden Ave. Turn left on Camden Ave and follow it until you intersect with Almaden Expressway. Continue west on Almaden Expressway and turn right onto CA-1 N. Follow CA-1 N for approximately 20 miles until you see signs for Pigeon Point Light Station. There is bike parking available at the park.

    If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, begin from downtown Campbell at the Campbell Plaza. Walk south down Campbell Ave towards the intersection with S Bascom Ave. Continue straight until you reach the light rail station. From here, take the VTA Light Rail towards 'Alum Rock'. After a transfer at the 'San Jose Diridon Station', take the SamTrans Bus Route 17 towards 'Pescadero'. Get off at the 'Pescadero' stop and walk west on Pigeon Point Rd for about 15 minutes to reach the light station.
