Car
If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto Highway 92 West from your current location in East Bay. Follow Highway 92 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 1. Take the exit toward Highway 1 South towards Half Moon Bay. Continue on Highway 1 for about 10 miles. Take the exit for Half Moon Bay, and turn left onto Main St. Continue straight until you reach Johnston St, then turn right. The Coastside History Museum will be on your right at 505 Johnston St. There is street parking available, which is usually free.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Millbrae station. From Millbrae, transfer to SamTrans bus line 294 towards Half Moon Bay. The bus will take you directly to Half Moon Bay. Get off at the stop closest to Main St. Walk to Main St, then head south until you reach Johnston St. Turn right onto Johnston St, and the Coastside History Museum will be located at 505 Johnston St. Please check the SamTrans schedule in advance for bus times, and be aware that there may be a fare for the bus ride.
