Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in the East Bay, start by getting onto I-80 W. Follow the signs for San Francisco. After crossing the Bay Bridge, take the exit toward Fremont St. Merge onto Fremont St, then turn right onto Howard St. Continue on Howard St, then turn left onto Stockton St. Continue until you reach Sacramento St, where you will find the Journey To The West Mural at 790 Sacramento St, San Francisco, CA 94108. Parking in the area may be limited, so be prepared to find street parking or a nearby garage, which may incur costs.

• Public Transportation - BART

  To reach the Journey To The West Mural using BART, head to any BART station in the East Bay, such as Oakland or Berkeley. Purchase a ticket to the Montgomery St. station in San Francisco (cost is approximately $10-$12 depending on your departure station). Once you arrive at Montgomery St., exit the station and head towards Market St. Walk two blocks to Stockton St. and then turn right. Continue for several blocks until you reach Sacramento St. The mural is located at 790 Sacramento St, San Francisco, CA 94108. Be prepared for some walking once you exit the BART station.

• Public Transportation - AC Transit

  If you prefer to take AC Transit, catch a bus that heads towards San Francisco. Look for routes such as the 72 or 800 that go to the Transbay Terminal in SF. Once you arrive at the Transbay Terminal, transfer to Muni. You can take Muni bus lines such as the 30 or 45 to get to the Chinatown area. Make sure to check the Muni schedule for exact routes and timing. Once you’re in Chinatown, walk to Sacramento St, and you will find the Journey To The West Mural at 790 Sacramento St, San Francisco, CA 94108. Note that bus fares are generally around $2.50, and you may need a Clipper card for ease of travel.
