Public Transit
If you're starting from downtown Hayward, walk to the Hayward BART station located at 699 B Street. From there, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Stay on the train for about 25 minutes until you reach the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. From the Embarcadero, you can either take a bus or walk to the Bay Bridge viewpoint located at the intersection of Howard St and Main St. The Bay Bridge will be visible from this area.

From the Hayward BART station, if you prefer to walk, you can follow these directions: head north on B Street towards Mission Blvd, turn left on Mission Blvd, and walk straight until you reach the intersection with A Street. Then turn right on A Street. Continue walking until you reach the Oakland Bay Bridge viewpoint in San Francisco. This walk will take approximately 1.5 hours, so be prepared for a longer journey.
