To get to Old Town San Diego by car from San Diego Beaches, start by heading east on Mission Blvd. Then, merge onto I-5 N via the ramp to Los Angeles. Continue on I-5 N for about 6 miles. Take exit 21 for Old Town Ave. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Old Town. Turn right onto Old Town Ave, and then turn right onto Juan St. Old Town San Diego will be on your left at 2829 Juan St. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around $10.

If you're using public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop in San Diego Beaches. Take the MTS Bus Route 8 towards Downtown. Stay on the bus for approximately 20-30 minutes until you reach the Old Town Transit Center. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Old Town San Diego, located at 2829 Juan St. The bus fare is around $2.50 one way.

You can also take the San Diego Trolley. Walk to the nearest trolley station and board the Blue Line towards San Ysidro. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Old Town station.
