Car
If you're driving in San Diego County, take Interstate 5 (I-5) or Interstate 8 (I-8) towards Old Town. If using I-5, exit at Old Town Avenue and head east. Follow signs for Presidio Park. If using I-8, exit at Taylor Street and turn left onto Taylor, then right onto Presidio Drive. Follow the road until you reach the park entrance. Parking is available at Presidio Park, but it may have a fee, typically around $5.
Public Transportation
To reach Presidio de San Diego via public transportation, take the San Diego Trolley (Blue Line) to the Old Town Transit Center. From there, transfer to Bus Route 35 towards Mission Hills. Get off at the stop on Presidio Drive near the park entrance. The total fare for the trolley and bus is approximately $2.50, but check for any changes in fare or schedules before you travel.
Walking
If you are in the Old Town area, you can also walk to Presidio de San Diego. From the Old Town State Historic Park, head northeast on San Diego Avenue, then turn left onto Taylor Street. Continue until you reach Presidio Drive, then turn right. The park entrance will be on your left. It’s about a 20-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes!
