From Montgomery Street, turn left and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Balance Street. Turn right onto Balance Street, and you will arrive at the Shortest Street in California, which is a small street located just off Montgomery Street.

If you prefer to take public transit, you can catch the Muni bus. Look for the 8-Bayshore or 30-Stockton bus lines at any nearby bus stop in Chinatown. Board the bus heading towards the Financial District. Get off at the Montgomery St & California St stop. From there, walk north on Montgomery Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Balance Street. Turn right onto Balance Street to see the Shortest Street in California. Please note that a single ride on the Muni costs $3.00.
