Public Transport
From San Lorenzo, head to the nearest BART station, which is the Bay Fair BART Station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco and ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Embarcadero Station. Once there, transfer to the Muni Metro. Take the N-Judah line towards Ocean Beach and get off at the 4th & King Station. From there, catch the Muni bus 28 towards Golden Gate Bridge. Get off at the stop for Fort Point, which is right at the entrance of the site.

Walking and Public Transport
If you prefer to walk, you can also take a combination of walking and public transport. Start at the Bay Fair BART Station and take the train to the 12th St/Oakland City Center Station. From there, walk to the Transbay Terminal and catch the Muni bus 30 or 45 towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Get off at Fort Point. This journey might take longer but gives you a chance to explore more of the area.

For a more direct route, consider using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Just input Fort Point National Historic Site as your destination. Alternatively, you could rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in San Lorenzo and cycle towards San Francisco.
