Public Bus
To reach the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk from Santa Clara, head to the nearest VTA bus stop and take the 22 or 523 bus towards the Santa Clara Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, transfer to the Highway 17 Express bus to Santa Cruz. Get off at the 'Santa Cruz Transit Center' stop. From there, walk towards Pacific Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Beach Street. Turn left on Beach Street, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be on your right at 400 Beach St.

Train
First, make your way to the Santa Clara Caltrain Station. Purchase a ticket to Santa Cruz. Board the train heading south. When you arrive at the Santa Cruz station, exit and walk towards the nearby bus stop. Take the 68 bus towards the beach. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Beach Street stop. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be a short walk from there, located at 400 Beach St.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Santa Clara. Head towards the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail, and bike south towards the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Follow the trail to reach the downtown area of Santa Cruz. Once you arrive in Santa Cruz, navigate towards Beach Street. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be located at 400 Beach St. Make sure to follow local bike lanes and park your bike safely at the Boardwalk.
