From Santa Clara, head to the nearest bus stop where you can catch the Highway 17 Express. This bus service will take you directly to Santa Cruz. Make sure to check the schedule for departure times. After approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour on the bus, you will arrive at the Santa Cruz Metro Center. From there, transfer to the local bus (Route 5) heading towards the Mystery Spot. Get off at the stop closest to the Mystery Spot Road. You will need to walk about 15 minutes uphill to reach the attraction.

Take the Caltrain from the Santa Clara station towards San Francisco. Get off at the San Jose station and transfer to the VTA Light Rail (Blue Line) to the Santa Cruz Metro Center. Once at the Metro Center, transfer to Bus Route 5 towards the Mystery Spot. After approximately 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the closest stop to Mystery Spot Road and walk about 15 minutes to the attraction.
