  • Public Transport

    From downtown San Francisco, take Muni bus route 43 directly to the Letterman Digital Arts Center. The Presidio GO Shuttle's Downtown Route also provides free service from the Transbay Terminal and Embarcadero BART to the Presidio Transit Center; from there, transfer to the free Presidio GO Shuttle South Hills Route or Muni 43 to reach the fountain. A single ride on Muni costs $3.00 ($2.50 with Clipper card/MuniMobile). The Presidio GO Shuttle is free.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Palace of Fine Arts, walk east along Bay Street, then turn right onto Lyon Street. Enter the Presidio at the Chestnut Street gate and follow the signs to the Letterman Digital Arts Center. The Yoda Fountain will be on your left.

  • Driving

    Enter the Presidio via Lombard Street (Highway 101) or from the south via Highway 1. Follow signs to 1 Letterman Drive, San Francisco, CA 94129. Paid parking is available in the underground garage at the Letterman Digital Arts Center. Parking costs $6 per hour between 7am and 6pm, and a flat rate of $5 at other times.
