Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car within Yosemite National Park, start by navigating to the Yosemite Valley area. From there, take CA-140 W towards Mariposa. After approximately 30 miles, turn onto Wawona Road (CA-41 S), which will lead you toward the southern entrance of the park. Continue driving until you reach the junction with CA-41 where you'll turn left to stay on CA-41 S. Follow the signs for Little Yosemite Area, which is located near the southern entrance. Please note that parking fees may apply in certain areas of the park.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, first take the YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) bus service from any major town nearby, such as Merced or Mariposa, to the Yosemite National Park entrance. From the Yosemite Valley, transfer to the park's shuttle bus system that operates within the park during peak season. Take the shuttle towards the southern areas of the park, and look for routes that indicate stops near Little Yosemite Area.
