Once in Vanderhoof, take the exit for Highway 27 and head northeast. Stay on Highway 27 until you reach the junction with Highway 16 again, and then turn east on Highway 16. Continue on this route until you reach the community of Burns Lake. From Burns Lake, take Highway 35 south until you reach the junction with the road leading to Tom Thomson Lake. Follow the signs for Tom Thomson Lake, which will guide you along unpaved logging roads until you reach the lake. Please note that vehicle access may require a high-clearance vehicle.
