If you're driving from Ottawa, take the Trans-Canada Highway (ON-416) north. Follow ON-416 until it merges with Highway 417. Continue on Highway 417 until you reach the exit for QC-105 toward Chelsea. Merge onto QC-105 and continue for about 15 km. Take the exit for Chem. du Lac-Meech and follow the signs to Ruines Carbide Willson. The ruins are located at 639 Chem. du Lac-Meech in Chelsea, Quebec. There is free parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Ruines Carbide Willson using public transportation, start at the Ottawa Transit Centre. Take the OC Transpo bus route 88 towards 'Maitland' and get off at the 'Maitland at Baseline' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 89 towards 'Gatineau' and get off at the 'Gatineau at LC Meach' stop. You will then need to walk approximately 1.5 km along Chem. du Lac-Meech to reach the ruins. Be mindful of bus schedules, and check for any service changes that may affect your travel plans. A one-way fare is approximately CAD 3.75.

For cycling enthusiasts, you can ride from Ottawa to Ruines Carbide Willson. Start on the Ottawa River Pathway towards Gatineau. Follow the pathway until you reach the Gatineau Park access point. Continue through the park, following the designated cycling routes, and then take QC-105 toward Chelsea. Turn onto Chem. du Lac-Meech, and the ruins will be on your right. The total distance is approximately 30 km one way. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.
