Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by getting onto ON-416 S from your location in Ottawa Valley. Follow ON-416 S for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Trans-Canada Highway (ON-401). Merge onto Trans-Canada Highway (ON-401) heading toward Ottawa. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit for ON-416 N toward Ottawa. Continue on ON-416 N for another 15 kilometers and follow signs for Ottawa. Once you arrive in Ottawa, navigate towards 'Old City' area. The Commonwealth Air Force Memorial is located at 45.4408853 latitude and -75.6961133 longitude, near the downtown area. Parking may be available nearby, but check for any parking fees.

  If you are using public transportation, begin your journey by taking a local bus from your nearest station to the Ottawa Transit system. You can catch bus routes that head towards downtown Ottawa. Look for routes that connect to the central transit hub, which is the Ottawa Transit Station. Once in downtown, you can either walk to the Commonwealth Air Force Memorial (a distance of about 1.5 kilometers from the station) or take a short ride on the O-Train or another bus service that goes to the Old City area.
