Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Coquimbo, head to the nearest bus stop where you can catch a bus heading towards Vicuña. Look for buses labeled 'Vicuña' or 'La Serena-Vicuña', which typically depart from the terminal near Avenida La Paz. The fare is usually around 2,500 CLP. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Request the driver to drop you off at the 'Estancia Casa Blanca' stop. From there, walk north for about 10 minutes along the main road, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Centro Astronómico Omega.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare app like Uber or Cabify. Simply input 'Centro Astronómico Omega, Estancia Casa Blanca s/n lote 14, Vicuña' as your destination. The ride from central Coquimbo should take around 30 minutes and will cost approximately 15,000 to 20,000 CLP depending on traffic.

  If you are dropped off at the 'Estancia Casa Blanca' bus stop, walk north along the main road for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Centro Astronómico Omega on your left. Make sure to check the opening hours prior to your visit, as it typically opens at 8 PM.
