    From Coquimbo city center, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Buses de Coquimbo. Look for buses heading to Vicuña; the trip takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Vicuña, disembark at the terminal, which is centrally located.

  • Walking from Vicuña Bus Terminal

    After exiting the bus, walk towards San Martín Street (Calle San Martín) which is only a few blocks away from the bus terminal. Head east on San Martín Street for about 300 meters until you reach San Martín 275. The Office Mamalluca Observatory will be on your left-hand side. It's approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal.

  • Taxi or Rideshare

    If you prefer a more direct route from the Vicuña bus terminal to the observatory, you can easily find a taxi or request a rideshare service. Just provide the driver with the address: San Martín 275, Vicuña, Coquimbo. The ride will take around 5 minutes.
