From Coquimbo, head to the nearest bus terminal, Terminal de Buses de Coquimbo, located at Av. La Marina 2500. Take a bus to Vicuña; these buses usually run frequently throughout the day. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Vicuña, disembark at the main bus terminal.

Upon reaching Vicuña, find a local taxi or rideshare service. You can ask for a ride to 'Navarino, Peralillo, Vicuña'. The distance is approximately 12 kilometers, and it should take about 15-20 minutes to reach COLLASUYO ASTRONÓMICO. Astroturismo Valle de Elqui. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location.

Walking Directions
If you prefer to walk from Vicuña, head east on Avenida La Libertad toward Calle Balmaceda, then turn left onto Calle Balmaceda which will lead you out of the town. Follow the signs toward Navarino, Peralillo. It is a scenic route but can be challenging as it is approximately 12 kilometers (about 2.5 hours of walking). Ensure you have adequate water and sun protection.
