If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Los Nevados National Natural Park. Take the road towards Salento, Quindio, which is around 30 kilometers away. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on road conditions. Once you reach Salento, look for signs leading to Morrogacho Mountain. The coordinates for Morrogacho Mountain are approximately 4.6220804 latitude and -75.4641698 longitude. You can enter these coordinates into your GPS for precise navigation. The last few kilometers may require driving on unpaved roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
To reach Morrogacho Mountain using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest town or city, such as Manizales or Pereira, to Salento. The bus ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Salento, you can either hire a local taxi that is familiar with the area or take a jeep (known locally as a 'Willys') that goes to the beginning of the hiking trail. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at the trailhead for Morrogacho Mountain. The taxi fare may vary, but expect to pay around 20,000 to 30,000 COP (Colombian Pesos) for the trip.
