Continue onto the road that leads to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta National Park. Follow the signs towards Vereda el Encanto. The drive will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions. Please note that you'll need to pay a small entrance fee for the national park, which is typically around 10,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). Once you reach Vereda el Encanto, look for signs pointing towards Refugio Gotsezhy.

Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, take a bus from Santa Marta to Minca. The buses leave from the main terminal and the journey to Minca takes about 30-40 minutes, costing around 8,000 COP. Once you arrive in Minca, you will need to take a motorcycle taxi or a 4x4 vehicle to Vereda el Encanto. This ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost between 15,000 to 25,000 COP, depending on the negotiation. Ask the motorcycle taxi driver to take you to Refugio Gotsezhy upon arrival at Vereda el Encanto.
