Car
From Ciudad Perdida, you will need to return to the main road, which is approximately a 4-5 hour trek back to the nearest access point to Santa Marta. Once you reach the main road, head south towards Santa Marta. After about 40 kilometers, look for signs indicating 'Guachaca'. Continue driving for about 1 kilometer until you reach Km 41 on the Troncal del Caribe road. Sierra Nevada Colombia Trekking will be located on your right. Please note that parking might be limited, so be prepared to find a safe spot nearby.

To reach Sierra Nevada Colombia Trekking using public transport from Ciudad Perdida, first, you will need to return to the nearest village, which is Machete Pelado, by completing the trek back. Once you arrive at Machete Pelado, catch a bus or a shared taxi heading to Santa Marta. Inform the driver you want to get off at Guachaca. The fare is approximately 10,000 COP. After arriving at the Guachaca area, walk approximately 1 kilometer on the Troncal del Caribe road towards Km 41 to reach your destination.
