Start at the Delta Public Library located at 211 W 4th St, Delta, CO 81416. Exit the library and head east on W 4th St toward Main St. After about 0.2 miles, take a left onto Main St and continue for about 0.5 miles. Then, turn right onto Palmer St. Continue walking on Palmer St for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the Fort Uncompahgre Interpretive Center at 440 Palmer St on your right.

If you have a bike, you can start at the Delta Recreation Center located at 1001 W 15th St, Delta, CO 81416. Exit the center and head east on W 15th St. Turn left onto Main St and continue north for about 0.8 miles. After that, turn right onto Palmer St, and bike for about 0.3 miles. The Fort Uncompahgre Interpretive Center will be on your right at 440 Palmer St.
